Senior Architect – Construction

A Senior Site Architect is responsible for overseeing the architectural aspects of construction projects on-site. This role involves ensuring that the design intent is realized during construction, coordinating with various stakeholders, and addressing any issues that arise during the building process.
Responsibilities:
- Site Supervision: Oversee the construction site to ensure that the architectural design is implemented correctly and according to the plans.
- Quality Control: Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.
- Coordination: Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to resolve any design or construction issues.
- Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site, making adjustments to plans as necessary.
- Reporting: Prepare and present progress reports to clients and stakeholders, highlighting any deviations from the plan and proposed solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of site activities, including daily logs, inspection reports, and change orders.
- Client Interaction: Liaise with clients to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction with the project.
Requirements:
- Minimum 15 years demonstrable experience in the all aspects of supervision and project administration of the Architectural works related to large-scale projects within Middle East in the consulting industry.
- Bachelor Degree in Architectural Engineering or equivalent. Membership of a recognized institution (i.e. PE/Peng, CEng Etc.) would be preferred. LEED GA or AP certifications would be a plus
