Our client, a prominent entertainment services company in Saudi Arabia, is looking for an experienced Managing Director (MD) to lead its overall business operations, strategic growth, and profitability. This role requires a visionary leader with strong business acumen, operational expertise, and experience within entertainment, events, or leisure industries.

The MD will be responsible for overseeing the company’s commercial strategy, operations, and team leadership, ensuring alignment with the organization’s vision to deliver world-class entertainment experiences across the Kingdom.

Responsibilities:

• Define and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and long-term growth.
• Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams in line with market trends and Vision 2030 initiatives.
• Lead the development of new entertainment concepts, services, and experiences.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth execution of entertainment services and client projects.
• Implement operational best practices and performance standards to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Drive digital and technological innovations to improve service delivery and customer engagement.
• Manage P&L, budgeting, and forecasting to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Ensure cost control measures and operational efficiency without compromising quality.
• Build strong relationships with investors, partners, and key stakeholders to ensure sustainable business growth.
• Lead and inspire a high-performing leadership team across multiple departments.
• Foster a collaborative and creative company culture that prioritizes innovation and excellence.
• Oversee talent acquisition, training, and leadership development programs.
• Maintain strong relationships with government entities, regulators, and industry associations.
• Ensure full compliance with local laws, licensing requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
• Represent the company in high-level meetings, events, and industry forums.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in senior leadership roles, preferably as MD, CEO, COO, or GM in entertainment, leisure, media, or events sectors.
• Proven track record of driving business growth and operational excellence.
• Strong understanding of entertainment trends, customer experience, and commercial models in the GCC.
• Experience in strategic planning, business development, and large-scale project execution.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
