Our client, a leading media and advertising agency in Qatar, is seeking an experienced Business Director to lead client relationships, drive business growth, and oversee strategic media and advertising initiatives. This is a key leadership role, responsible for managing major accounts, mentoring teams, and delivering exceptional client service in a highly competitive and fast-paced market.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in media planning, strategic account management, and business development, along with a deep understanding of the MENA media landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary client partner, ensuring strategic alignment and business objectives are met.
- Develop and deliver innovative media and advertising strategies that drive measurable results.
- Lead high-level client presentations, negotiations, and business reviews.
- Identify new opportunities within existing accounts to upsell and cross-sell services.
- Drive new business pitches, proposals, and agency partnerships in the Lebanese and MENA markets.
- Achieve growth targets and revenue objectives while maintaining profitability.
- Lead and mentor a team of Account Managers, Media Planners, and Digital Specialists.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, encouraging innovation and continuous learning.
- Ensure the team delivers exceptional client service and campaign execution.
- Oversee budget management, forecasting, and resource allocation for assigned accounts.
- Ensure compliance with agency processes, best practices, and quality standards.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to ensure optimization and ROI.
Requirements:
- ·10+ years of experience in media, advertising, or marketing (with at least 5 years in a leadership role).
- Proven track record of leading major accounts and driving business growth.
- Deep understanding of media planning, digital marketing, and integrated campaigns.
- Strong network and understanding of the Lebanese and regional media market.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple high-profile clients and complex projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (MBA preferred).
