Our client, a leading media and advertising agency in Qatar, is seeking an experienced Business Director to lead client relationships, drive business growth, and oversee strategic media and advertising initiatives. This is a key leadership role, responsible for managing major accounts, mentoring teams, and delivering exceptional client service in a highly competitive and fast-paced market.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in media planning, strategic account management, and business development, along with a deep understanding of the MENA media landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary client partner, ensuring strategic alignment and business objectives are met.
  • Develop and deliver innovative media and advertising strategies that drive measurable results.
  • Lead high-level client presentations, negotiations, and business reviews.
  • Identify new opportunities within existing accounts to upsell and cross-sell services.
  • Drive new business pitches, proposals, and agency partnerships in the Lebanese and MENA markets.
  • Achieve growth targets and revenue objectives while maintaining profitability.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Account Managers, Media Planners, and Digital Specialists.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, encouraging innovation and continuous learning.
  • Ensure the team delivers exceptional client service and campaign execution.
  • Oversee budget management, forecasting, and resource allocation for assigned accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with agency processes, best practices, and quality standards.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to ensure optimization and ROI.

Requirements:

  • ·10+ years of experience in media, advertising, or marketing (with at least 5 years in a leadership role).
  • Proven track record of leading major accounts and driving business growth.
  • Deep understanding of media planning, digital marketing, and integrated campaigns.
  • Strong network and understanding of the Lebanese and regional media market.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-profile clients and complex projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (MBA preferred).
